The Black Hedgesby ~Klarens-photography

One of the most beautiful roads I’ve ever seen is this country lane in Northern Ireland - named locally as The Dark Hedges.
These trees are 300 years old and form an arch like tunnel that run the length of the Bregagh road near Armoy in County Antrim. They really do look like something straight out of a fairytale.
To view this place in the morning is amazing, you can catch a good light or eerie mist.
I visited this location regularly waiting to find the ideal conditions, but it was only on my tenth trip there that I came across this amazing light show which lasted only 10 minutes.

Holy wow! Fantastic capture, I love the depth in this image, from the foreground to the trees fading into the distance. Wonderful light, and black and white tones as well. There is a very serene and whimsical feeling to this photo. Well done!
